They say that a bad day fishing is better than a good day working. On Southeastern Georgian Bay, that’s mostly true. There’s no such thing as a bad day fishing – or boating, hiking, snowshoeing, or ice-fishing. Especially when you use Honey Harbour Boat Club as the launch point to your happy place in the Bay.

From the time the ice breaks in early spring to the time it forms again in late fall, we are here to support boaters – we also offer a place to warm up for those brave enough to head outdoors during the winter months.

Members and Non-Members Welcome

The Boat Club is proud to serve its 145 members, to whom we offer enhanced services, such as reserved docking, car parking, boat storage, and much more. While there is a waiting list for membership, our valued non-members can take advantage of parking, launching, water taxis, fuel, service and repairs, and, of course, our fully-stocked marine store.

If you’re visiting the Bay, come on in! We’re even open in the winter. Stop by to get your snowmobile serviced, fuel up, or stuff your pack with all the supplies you need for your adventure.

To learn more about membership and to inquire about joining our waiting list, contact  Curtis during business hours or via email at [email protected]

Our Staff

Our veteran staff know boats, weather, Honey Harbour, and the needs of cottagers and visitors. Experienced General Manager Curtis Sallows is at the helm, and our three certified mechanics, along with our taxi driver, dock manager, and deckhands are always happy to help keep your fun afloat.

The Community

There would be no Honey Harbour Boat Club without the terrific Honey Harbour community. We strive every day to return the favour. The Boat Club is the hub of the area’s water-based emergency services: in addition to housing the Ontario Provincial Police boats and the Honey Harbour Fire Boat, we provide a central meeting place for first responders.

The Boat Club also helps community-based organizations meet their goals with funding and promotional support. If there is a Honey Harbour community initiative you think we should know about, please email us [email protected].
